Go Rin No Sho strives to be a guild filled with good people. We expect all our members, regardless of rank, to treat members of the community, whether in game, or on any public forum with respect (even those who ordinarily may not deserve or return such respect).

If you can't be polite, don't post. Your actions reflect upon the entire guild, and any misconduct or disrespect of fellow players will not be tolerated. We want to establish and maintain a reputation for being a quality guild, full of helpful and active members who are an excellent addition to any group or party... do your best to live up to these expectations.

Code of Conduct:

• Strive to treat all other players as you wish to be treated.
• Racism, sexism, bigotry, or threats towards another person are not tolerated by this guild. This includes using slurs based on race, creed, sex, or sexual identity.
• Do not harass, taunt, bother, stalk, or otherwise grief other players, whether in guild or not.
• Do not play unethically: no cheating, hacking, gold-selling, botting, gliding, etc. This includes hacking, ninja-ing, intentionally causing wipes, etc.
• Do not beg. Very little is more irritating than getting asked for money, items, etc. in a game. If you want to beg, go to the street corner; this guild, and our server in general is not the place for it.

Go Rin No Sho guild members are expected to hold themselves to a higher standard and refrain from inappropriate behaviour in game. It is up to you to be the bigger person and remember this is just a game. If another person is harassing you, use the appropriate channels (ignore them, report them to an officer, report them to a GM).

Remember, any time you're interacting with other players, you are a representative of the guild. Please behave how you would want our guild remembered. We want this guild to be seen as a home for good, helpful, active players, and to establish a reputation as a quality guild for other players to join.

Forums

All members are expected to be active on these forums, all important news about the guild is posted here, so you need to visit them regularly. Feel free to contribute any knowledge, hints & tips you may have and make yourself part of the community.

When posting on the forums, please try to follow these basic guidelines:

1. Posting on this forum is intended for the sole purpose of answering questions on the topics listed in this forum, education of these topics, evolving this forum and website, enhancing the members' knowledge of the topics listed in this forum.
2. All posts in these forums are limited to the appropriate topics. You may not post material that does not contribute to the sole purpose of the conversations created in their respectable fields. If you wish to chit-chat use the General Discussion forum.
3. Your account is yours alone. You are responsible for any activity created with it. You may not share your account login with anyone. If you choose to ignore this important restriction your account, and any accounts associated with it, will be disabled.
4. One account per member is allowed. Anyone with multiple accounts will be warned and have one account suspended. Only 1 (one) unique IP address is allowed per member. Any members found using the same IP address as another member will result in either one or both accounts being banned or suspended. (Unless you have prior approval from Admin).
5. You may not post on behalf of any banned member in any public manner. This includes all forums, private messages, signatures, and e-mail features.
6. No links should lead to adult porn sites or porn forums. There will be no exceptions to this rule.
7. You may not have images or avatars promoting adult themes or harassing gestures that can be deemed as violating these rules, the Go Rin No Sho Code of Conduct, or being unlawful. You may not post images as such either in any forum on this website.
8. No links should lead to sites that encourage or advertise fraud/illegal activities. There will be no exceptions to this rule.
9. Warnings will be issued to those members who violate the rules. Multiple warnings or serious offense will result in suspension or banning of your account.
10. If your complaint is made in a public post in the forum, it will automatically be deleted with no response made to your complaint. You're not allowed to commit a personal attack on an administrator or a moderator. If you have something to comment on a particular administrator or moderator, send him/her a personal message (PM) instead of attacking him/her.
11. Any questioning or challenging of an administrator's/moderator's decision in the public forum, or editing or removing moderators' notes after they have edited your post, will result in immediate account suspension or - in extreme cases - banning of your account. This may be done without indication from an administrator or a moderator.
12. You may not bump threads. Bumping can refer to posting useless information, posting one-liners or any other action to deliberately keep a thread hot or to bring it to the top of its forum. Moderators will use their discretion, depending on the nature of the post, as to whether to take action or not.

No Drama

We have a strict policy about people causing drama in game, on our forums or anywhere else associated with our guild. Anyone who whines, flames, begs, causes any tension or offense or brings the good name of Go Rin No Sho into disrepute will be warned and if serious enough removed from the guild. We all enjoy having a laugh but there are limits to what is acceptable. Think before you speak or make a post and use common sense.
