M.U.L.E. was a very good game on the Atari 800 (back in the 1980's), the objective was to mine and gather other resources on a strange planet using your Multiple-Use Labour Element (M.U.L.E.), which looked like a Mule (but with really old computer block graphics), and make loads of money. It was multi-player (4 joysticks plugged in the front) and you had to compete to get to the top of the money, the one with the most at the end is the winner, and gets the title Founder (of the new colonized planet.

Looks like it is making a comeback now, take a look at these websites, you can even play one now if you download it from www.planetmule.com

There is no swearing on this video, except the occassional fuck, shit, bollocks etc., and maybe some other words that shall not be prtined, like erm.. well. Watch the video.

M.U.L.E. is not a quick game, some of the matches we played lasted nearly 2 hours, makes me wonder what this game would be like on an Android or iPhone, maybe they will use NFC and Android Beam, or some similar technology?

Whatever they do, if the new version is as good as the one on planetmule.com, it is well worth the time to give the game a try. It is fun, requires brain power, and you can plot or conspire with other players too!
